A group of international trainees spent a day at Trinity High school before beginning the PGCE. This was the first opportunity for many of them to see life in an English school.
We attended assembly, had a tour of the school and observed some wonderful lessons.
Students left the school with confidence and enthusiasm.
We are very grateful to Cecile Jones for welcoming us and to the head teacher Julian Nicholls for taking us on a tour for communicating his strongly held values. His words helped us reflect on the need to resist easy assumption about young people.
