Nic Smith will present on Core mathematics

Core Maths is an exciting new qualification intended to increase participation in post-16 mathematics. It is aimed at students who do achieve a GCSE grade C or above but don’t want to study A level. Nic Smith is a Core Maths Lead who has been teaching and working with others who want to introduce Core Maths in their school or college since it started. Whilst Core Maths is apost-16 qualification this session will be of interest to anyone who wants to see more problem solving and real life application of mathematics in the classroom.
