Thanks to everyone who supported our open evening for anyone interested in a career in teaching at the University of Manchester. Around 100 prospective trainees came to learn more about our Primary and Secondary PGCE routes. This was heavily publicised on Facebook as well through staff and our websites and emails.

Feedback from past and current trainees highlights the support they received from their tutor as a key aspect of the programme. Over 50% of our trainees leave with an ‘outstanding’ grade and many go on to work in local schools and colleges.
