Astronaut to partnership school – 11th May

On the 11th May William Hulme Grammar School are very excited to be hosting a visit from the British born astronaut Mike Foale. Mike is a veteran of SIX space missions to specestations Mir and ISS and was the first British born astronaut to perform a spacewalk and was responsible for repairing Mir following a collision. His stories are so exciting a Hollywood movie about his life is in development (http://www.showfilmfirst.com/mike-foale-feature-icarus-development/).

The evening will start at 8pm and be held in the Great Hall. We have 350 spaces available which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We are asking for £15 per ticket (£8 concession) to help us cover costs please email: melanie.marshall@whgs-academy.org to book tickets.
