CPD Event: Boxing Clever with Behaviour – A Needs-Based Approach

by | 19 Oct 2016 | CPD | 0 comments

Boxing Clever with Behaviour – A Needs-Based Approach is a two-part session delivered by Matt Grant. Matt is currently Deputy Headteacher at the Pendlebury Centre PRU, which has four consecutive ‘outstanding’ judgements. Here staff work with some of the most vulnerable students, many of whom present with challenging behaviours.

In these interactive sessions you will look at how we understand some of the driving factors behaviours behind challenging behaviour and from there look at case studies and simple, practical strategies that all teachers and TAs can adopt for use in their own classrooms.

While Matt works in a Secondary environment, however, the approaches discussed will be applicable to learners of all ages.

NB This is a two session event – please register for both sessions (15th and 29th of November).

Tickets are limited to 40 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  To register follow the link below and use the password PGCE
